Greetings from the Bay Area!  I am enjoying restful time at home... sleeping in, catching up with old friends and taking in the beauty of California.  Merry Christmas to all, hope your evenings are filled with beauty and peace.

Maybe it's the cold weather, but lately I am loving these bedroom images.... they have me thinking about adding a touch of fur to my bed.  I think it adds a certain "je ne sais quoi" to a bedroom... warmth, softness, textural depth and little bit of luxury... I especially love the look of layered bedding, using a few different textures but all in the same color palette.  What do you think?

I am officially done with finals!!  Feeling accomplished and relieved... and exhausted!  Today was spent lounging / catching up on some reading / trying to stay cozy in this freezing weather.  Hope you all had wonderful weekends... more frequent posts to follow!

I am beyond exhausted.... just put on a pot of coffee for what's going to be another late night.  Cannot wait until finals are over and I can rest... I promise to be more present after this weekend!  For now though, a few pinterest images I am loving this week.

Things I have been lusting over/daydreaming about as of late: (besides the end of finals)... a perfectly styled bar, time to sit and enjoy a perfect cup of coffee, a striped rug in the bedroom, and a pop-over coat for the colder weather that's supposedly headed this way.

So.... this week is hectic.  It is only Tuesday and already I am feeling a little burnt out!  Much to do and very little time to sit about... so of course I am longing for a comfy couch, a large mug of tea and a good book or two (or three).  I am loving aspects of all of these neutral living rooms... all cozy in their own way but also clean and simple...  which do you prefer?
