Wore this punchy sweater/necklace combo this weekend... (forgive the awful iPhone photo.)  It's a little brighter than my usual outfit choices, but the gorgeous weather has me adoring color... It feels a tad bit daring and just enough out of the ordinary.  For similar reasons, I am loving this kitchen- with its uniquely colored cabinets, and that rug... a completely unexpected combo that is kitchen perfection in my book.

This week I am totally crushing on tangerine, in all shades/tints/hues... bright and saturated or pale and soft, I want it integrated into every part of my day!

This week, inspired by this Dale Frank painting I found on one of my favorite tumblrs, I am crushing on the palest peaches... soft, cozy, warm, inviting.  All things needed when the chill sets in.

This week I am crushing on the oh-so-Autumn hue, aubergine... it's gorgeous in velvet and luxurious and dramatic on a wall...and perfect for Thanksgiving, no?

Happy Tuesday lovies... hope you all have gorgeous days and can find a touch of luxury in there somewhere.  I'm finding mine in a brewed-to-perfection latte.  (Today, I am thankful for coffee.)

color crush: lemon

I have been in love with this outfit since it came down the runway.  Unfortunately I don't think I'll be pulling off the bright yellow-ballgown-skirt-look anytime soon.  So instead, loving the pops of lemon in the following images... how fun is yellow for a headboard?!  I think my favorite is the first one...

This week I am crushing on all varieties of sea foam and sea glass greens...I'm pretty sure my subconscious is telling me I need a beach vacation.  But, to integrate these colors into the everyday/ordinary, how gorgeous and unique are they in the kitchen?
