apologies...

I have been a terrible blogger as of late... trying to get back into the swing of things, balancing work and school while attempting to maintain some semblance of a social life... it's not easy!  So please accept my apologies for the lack of posts.

The weather here has been pretty fickle- warm one day and bitter cold the next, so I have been loving good cozy layers like these:

Maybe it's the cold weather, but lately I am loving these bedroom images.... they have me thinking about adding a touch of fur to my bed.  I think it adds a certain "je ne sais quoi" to a bedroom... warmth, softness, textural depth and little bit of luxury... I especially love the look of layered bedding, using a few different textures but all in the same color palette.  What do you think?

a place to lounge

So.... this week is hectic.  It is only Tuesday and already I am feeling a little burnt out!  Much to do and very little time to sit about... so of course I am longing for a comfy couch, a large mug of tea and a good book or two (or three).  I am loving aspects of all of these neutral living rooms... all cozy in their own way but also clean and simple...  which do you prefer?
