This shoesday, which has been full of rain and grey skies, I am dreaming of perfect pre-summer weather and a picnic in the park...wearing this outfit.  Bright green, gold, and blue gingham... what's not to love?

This Tuesday, I'm LOVING these Rag & Bone booties... way over budget but I'm thinking it's okay to dream on shoesday.  In a perfect world, with a perfect closet, this is how I'd wear them.

I'm currently enjoying a perfect end to my Tuesday, reruns of Friends coupled with Rioja and the roommate.

In an effort to reclaim Tuesdays and rescue them from their utter blandness, I decided to deem them something more fun.  Originally I was going to go with boozeday-tuesday, but thought this might be against my best judgement.  Cruiseday-tuesday seemed entirely impossible, and juiceday-tuesday just wasn't enough fun.  And so, shoesday-tuesday was born.  (I swear, this post on The Man Repeller is entirely coincidental... I didn't see it until halfway through posting, and I have the g-chat (brainstorming session) history to prove it!) That being said, I realize now that it's not (apparently) entirely brilliant or revolutionary, but I like it and it works and it's likely here to stay.

Lately, I am OBSESSED with brass accents.... it pretty much looks amazing everywhere, but I'm especially loving it as kitchen hardware and in any sort of glass/lucite combination.

I came across this new hardware line this weekend...and now all I can think about is doing a total revamp of my tiny kitchen- new white cabinets, this hardware.  Obviously not going to happen in a rental and on my limited budget, but I can dream, right?

have to say...

I'm not a huge fan of this holiday.  But, I love pink and hearts and an excuse to eat candy before noon.... and so must wish you a day filled with special little things, happy moments, and of course lots of love.

All this rain / slush / snow has me longing for Springtime - flowers, ocean breeze-bike rides, bright yellow sunshine, stripes / white jeans / vacation adventures... for now I am pinning as many spring-inspired images as I can find.  It's a crazy week at work but I'm going to try to not be absent here!  Hope you all had lovely beginnings to your week (is it really only Tuesday now?)

So.... this week is hectic.  It is only Tuesday and already I am feeling a little burnt out!  Much to do and very little time to sit about... so of course I am longing for a comfy couch, a large mug of tea and a good book or two (or three).  I am loving aspects of all of these neutral living rooms... all cozy in their own way but also clean and simple...  which do you prefer?
